A Humanitarian Crisis
More than one million people have fled their homes. Constant bombing and the threat of a ground invasion have caused despair in many communities. In the past week, 90% of those displaced have had to leave their homes. This has created one of the deadliest times Lebanon has seen in almost twenty years.
Airstrikes keep destroying communities. Since September 2024, at least 569 people have sadly lost their lives. This includes 50 children and 94 women. But the situation could get even worse with the recent escalation of a ground offensive. In these critical times, immediate humanitarian intervention is needed.
