What is Lylatul Qadr?
Lylatul Qadr is considered to be the holiest night of the year for Muslims, and is traditionally celebrated during Ramadan. It is also known as the “Night of Power,” and commemorates the night that the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (saw).When is Lylatul Qadr 2021?
As we all know this is one of the odd nights of the last 10 days of Ramadan. This year, Lylatul Qadr 2021 is expected to be observed on the night of Saturday, 8th May, 2021. However, exact date is subject to the sighting of the moon of Ramadan, 1442.
Narrated by Aishah (R.A.) that Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said:
So Lylatul Qadr falls on either 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th night of Ramadan. However, it has been emphasized that it is most likely to be the 27th night of Ramadan.
Significance of this Night
Lylatul Qadr is of great importance its also called Night of Power. In Quran Allah (swt) dedicated whole surah for this night. Allah (swt) says in Surah Al-Qadr:
