Every year Minhaj Welfare Foundation hosts a range of sports activities to engage the local community whilst raising funds and awareness for our causes. This year, Minhaj Welfare Foundation has expanded its relief work in the flood-hit areas of Pakistan by rebuilding homes and livelihoods for displaced families. An estimated two million houses were completely damaged. As water showed signs of receding in many areas of southern Punjab and Sindh, families started returning to their homes.
Every year Minhaj Welfare Foundation holds a cricket tournament engaging the local community whilst raising awareness and donations for our projects
Last year (2020) we hosted the second season of MWF T10 Blast. The campaign we ran last year was “Change Lives with Clean Water – A Muharram Appeal”. We had a target to build 5 solar-powered water wells in Tharparkar, Pakistan, but with your support we were able to build 6 solar-powered water wells and numerous small and medium pumps.
Last year’s Charity Cricket Tournament MWF T10 Blast, was held on 13th September at Frenford clubs (the Drive, Ilford, IG1 3PS). This event was attended by six different teams. Food stalls, cricket and many things were there to entertain the audience.
Minhaj welfare foundation able to raise more than £30,000 pounds to “Change lives with clean water”. Minhaj Welfare Foundation installed water wells in water scarce areas and provided smooth and free access to safe and clean water.
