EduCare

Educare supports access to education for children and young people facing poverty and inequality. Through learning support, scholarships, and safe educational environments, the programme helps build knowledge, confidence, and long-term opportunity.

Unlocking Opportunity Through Education

Education plays a central role in shaping life outcomes, yet millions of children are unable to access consistent, quality learning due to poverty, displacement, and social barriers. Educare works to reduce these gaps by supporting education pathways that enable children and young people to learn, grow, and reach their potential.

By strengthening access to education, the programme contributes to individual development, family stability, and long-term community resilience.

Why Education Access Matters

Limited access to education affects more than academic achievement. It influences health, economic stability, social inclusion, and future opportunities, often reinforcing cycles of poverty across generations.

Improving access to education helps:

  • Build foundational skills and knowledge

  • Increase long-term livelihood prospects

  • Support confidence, wellbeing, and social participation

  • Strengthen communities through learning and opportunity

How the Educare Programme Creates Impact

Educare delivers education support through targeted interventions designed to meet learners at different stages of their educational journey.

Learning Support and School Access

Children are supported to attend school through access to learning resources, safe educational spaces, and assistance that reduces barriers to enrolment and attendance.

Scholarships and Continued Education

Where appropriate, scholarships support learners to continue their education beyond basic schooling, including vocational training and degree-level study, helping young people build skills for long-term independence.

Holistic Development and Wellbeing

Education support is delivered alongside attention to wellbeing, ensuring children are able to learn in environments that promote safety, confidence, and personal development.

Longer-Term Outcomes

By supporting education from early learning through to advanced study, Educare helps young people develop the skills, resilience, and independence needed to participate fully in society. Over time, access to education contributes to reduced vulnerability, stronger families, and more sustainable community development.
