No Poverty

No Poverty focuses on reducing vulnerability by addressing the underlying causes of poverty alongside immediate needs. Through coordinated support across essential services, the programme helps families move towards stability, dignity, and self-reliance.

Reducing Vulnerability, Strengthening Resilience

Poverty affects access to food, healthcare, education, safe housing, and economic opportunity, often reinforcing cycles of hardship across generations. No Poverty works to reduce these pressures by supporting families and communities through integrated interventions that address both urgent needs and long-term challenges.

By focusing on stability, resilience, and opportunity, the programme supports pathways out of poverty that are sustainable and locally grounded.

Why Addressing Poverty Requires a Holistic Approach

Poverty is not defined by income alone. It is shaped by limited access to services, insecure livelihoods, poor health, and social exclusion. Addressing one challenge in isolation often leaves families exposed to others.

A coordinated approach helps:

  • Reduce overlapping vulnerabilities

  • Strengthen household stability

  • Improve access to essential services

  • Support long-term social and economic inclusion

How the No Poverty Programme Creates Impact

No Poverty brings together targeted interventions that respond to the multiple dimensions of poverty affecting households and communities.

Integrated Household Support

Families are supported through a combination of food security, healthcare access, education support, and basic living assistance, helping stabilise households during periods of hardship.

Pathways to Self-Reliance

Where possible, support is linked to education, skills development, and livelihood opportunities that help reduce dependency and build long-term independence.

Monitoring and Community Engagement

Ongoing engagement helps ensure support remains relevant and effective, while community involvement strengthens ownership and sustainability.

Longer-Term Outcomes

By addressing poverty in a coordinated and sustained way, No Poverty contributes to improved wellbeing, reduced vulnerability, and greater resilience over time. Families are better positioned to manage shocks, access opportunities, and participate more fully in community life.
