Water for All

Water for All supports access to safe drinking water and sanitation in communities facing water scarcity and poor infrastructure. By improving water availability and hygiene, the programme protects health, dignity, and long-term wellbeing.

Access to Clean Water, Foundations for Life

Access to clean water is essential for health, dignity, and sustainable development, yet many communities continue to rely on unsafe or unreliable water sources. Water for All works to improve access to safe drinking water and sanitation, reducing preventable illness and easing the daily burden faced by families affected by water insecurity.

Reliable water access strengthens households, supports education and livelihoods, and contributes to long-term community resilience.

Why Clean Water and Sanitation Matter

Unsafe water and inadequate sanitation are major contributors to preventable disease, poor health outcomes, and lost opportunities, particularly for children and women. Time spent collecting water, illness linked to contamination, and poor hygiene conditions can limit education, productivity, and overall wellbeing.

Improving access to clean water helps:

  • Reduce water-borne disease and health risks

  • Improve hygiene and sanitation conditions

  • Ease daily hardship for households

  • Support education, livelihoods, and community stability

How the Water for All Programme Creates Impact

Water for All delivers practical, sustainable water solutions designed to meet local needs and improve long-term access.

Clean Water Infrastructure

Water sources such as wells, hand pumps, and filtration systems are developed or rehabilitated to provide reliable access to safe drinking water close to where communities live.

Sanitation and Hygiene Support

Improved sanitation facilities and hygiene awareness help reduce contamination, protect health, and support safer living environments.

Community-Led Water Management

Local communities are engaged in managing and maintaining water facilities, helping ensure long-term functionality, ownership, and sustainability.

Longer-Term Outcomes

By improving access to clean water and sanitation, Water for All contributes to better health outcomes, reduced vulnerability, and stronger community resilience. Over time, reliable water access supports learning, productivity, and dignity, helping communities move towards greater stability and self-reliance.
