Minhaj Welfare Foundation Hosted a charity cricket tournament, MWF T10 Blast, which was raising money for our Change Lives with Clean Water Campaign. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of the unfortunate fact that people across the globe still do not have access to clean drinking water. Minhaj Welfare Foundation Change Lives with Clean Water Campaign has a target to raise £15,000 to build 5 solar-powered water wells in the Tharparkar, Pakistan.

The Tournament was held at Frenford Youth Clubs where we had 2 pitches. There were 6 teams in total which were split into 2 groups. The top two teams from each group qualified for the semi-finals. The semi-finals were intense games which then led to Fine Legs and Stratford Reunited meeting in the final. The final was nail biting as Fine Legs were restricted to 129 in 10 overs. Stratford Reunited fell just short and 123.

The day was filled with fun and excitement. There was the cricket tournament, food, drinks, deserts, and entertainment. Minhaj Women League London and our local volunteers donated food and deserts to be sold to raise money for our campaign. Throughout the day there was plenty of food and drinks. The semi finals was live streamed with live commentary to make the day more entertaining
